Set your custom status

Share what you're up to with a short personal message on your profile card.

What is a custom status?​

A custom status is a short text message (up to 100 characters) you can set to let others know what you're up to. Unlike your online status, which shows your availability (online, away, or offline), a custom status is a personal message you write yourself.

Your custom status appears on your profile card when others select your avatar or username. It is visible to all members, not just friends.

Set a custom status​

  1. Select your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Set a status.
  3. Type your status message (up to 100 characters).
  4. Press Enter or select outside the field to save.

Clear a custom status​

  1. Select your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  2. Select your current status to open the status field.
  3. Select the clear icon (✕) inside the status field.
