Change your email

Update the email address associated with your Root account.

You need your current password and access to both your current and new email inboxes to complete this change. Root sends a verification code to each address, and you enter both codes to confirm.

Desktop

Request verification codes.

1. Select your profile picture in the top-right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select User profile.
4. Select Change email.
5. In the New email field, enter your new email address.
6. In the Password field, enter your current password.
7. Select Send code.

Verify your new email.

8. Check both your current and new email inboxes for verification codes.
9. In the Current email code field, enter the code sent to your current email.
10. In the New email code field, enter the code sent to your new email.
11. Select Verify.

Mobile

Request verification codes.

1. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap User profile.
4. Tap Change email.
5. In the New email field, enter your new email address.
6. In the Current password field, enter your current password.
7. Tap Send code.

Verify your new email.

8. Check both your current and new email inboxes for verification codes.
9. In the Current email code field, enter the code sent to your current email.
10. In the New email code field, enter the code sent to your new email.
11. Tap Verify.
