Subscribe to Sudo

Subscribe to a monthly or yearly Sudo plan to access your perks on Root.

Subscribing to Sudo requires Root on desktop.

Verify your email​

You must have a verified email address before you can subscribe to Sudo. If your email is not yet verified, Root shows a Verify your account to continue warning on the Sudo settings page.

  1. In the user tray, select your profile picture.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Sudo.
  4. If you see a Verify your account to continue warning, select Verify your email.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to your email address.
  6. Select Verify.

After verification, the Subscribe to Sudo button becomes active.

Subscribe to Sudo​

  1. In the user tray, select your profile picture.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Sudo.
  4. Select Subscribe to Sudo.
  5. In the Checkout window, select Monthly or Yearly.
  6. Select a payment method. To add a new card, select Add new payment method.
  7. Review the amount due, then select Get Sudo Monthly or Get Sudo Yearly to confirm.

After you subscribe​

Root displays a welcome screen confirming your subscription is active. Select Got it to dismiss it.

If you are in a voice call when you subscribe, leave and rejoin the call for HD streaming to take effect.
