Moderate voice channels
Manage disruptive behavior in voice channels by muting, deafening, or removing members.
Moderation actions

These actions only affect the current voice session. When the member leaves and rejoins the voice channel, the mute or deafen is cleared.
Mute a member
Muting prevents a member from speaking in the voice channel. Use this when someone is being disruptive or broadcasting unwanted audio.

- In the voice channel, right-click the member's name or avatar.
- Check the Admin mute checkbox.
To unmute, right-click the member and uncheck the Admin mute checkbox.
Mute control is not available on mobile.
Deafen a member
Deafening prevents a member from hearing any audio in the voice channel. Use this in combination with muting to fully disconnect someone from the conversation without removing them.

- In the voice channel, right-click the member's name or avatar.
- Select Admin deafen checkbox.
To undeafen, right-click the member and uncheck the Admin deafen checkbox.
Deafen control is not available on mobile.
Kick a member from voice
Kicking removes a member from the voice channel immediately. They can rejoin the channel if they still have access.

- In the voice channel, right-click the member's name or avatar.
- Select Remove from voice call.
Remove from voice call is not available on mobile.
If a member keeps rejoining after being kicked, consider banning them from the community or removing their access to the voice channel using access rules.
Voice moderation vs. community moderation
Voice moderation actions are temporary and only affect voice channels:

For persistent issues, use kick or ban to remove the member from the community entirely.
