Action log
See a log of changes and activity across your community.
What is the action log?
The action log is a record of administrative actions taken in your community. It shows who made changes, what was changed, and when. Use it to monitor community activity, investigate issues, or verify that changes were applied correctly.
What the action log tracks

| Roles | Role created, edited, or deleted; permission changes |
| Channels | Channel created, edited, or deleted; channel moved to different group |
| Channel groups | Channel group created, edited, or deleted |
| Channel Visibility | Role or member added, changed, or removed; permission changes |
| Members | Member joined, invited, kicked, or left; invite revoked or rejected (these two show on desktop) |
| Bans | Member banned or unbanned (the ban reason shows on mobile) |
| Member roles | Role assigned to or removed from members |
| Messages | Message edited, deleted by moderator, pinned, or unpinned (includes channel and message author) |
| Files | File uploaded, updated, or deleted; folder created, updated, or deleted (these entries show on mobile) |
| Apps | App installed, removed, or suspended |
| Cores | Core assigned to or removed from the community |
Entry details
Select any log entry to expand it and see:
- Who: The member who performed the action
- When: The exact date and time of the action
- What changed: Before and after values for edits (for example, the old and new role name, or permission changes)
For member events, the log also shows the affected member's username, who sent the invite (for joins), and the ban reason (on mobile).
For message events, the log shows the channel, message author, and message content.
View the action log

- Right-click the community tab, or select the community image in the sidebar.
- Select Community settings.
- Select Action logs from the left navigation.
Log entries are grouped by date. Scroll down to load older entries.
Select any log entry to open the Action log details panel, which shows the member who performed the action, the timestamp, and additional details about what changed.

- Tap the community name to open the menu.
- Tap Community settings.
- Tap Action logs under the Moderation section.
Log entries are grouped by date. Scroll down to load older entries. Pull down on the list to refresh and load the latest entries.
Tap any log entry to open the Action Details panel, which shows the member who performed the action, the timestamp, and additional details about what changed.
