Report an issue
If you've run into an issue or have an idea, you can submit feedback directly from the Root app or through our website.
Submit feedback from the app
- Desktop
- Mobile
- Select the Support icon (question mark) in the title bar, or select your profile picture in the user tray and then select Support.
- Choose a category:
- Help for questions or problems
- Suggestion for feature requests
- Other for anything else
- Enter a title summarizing your feedback.
- Enter a description with details.
- (Optional) Clear Root may contact me about this issue if you don't want us to follow up. This option is selected by default.
- Select Submit.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap Help and support.
- Choose a category:
- Help for questions or problems
- Suggestion for feature requests
- Other for anything else
- Enter a title summarizing your feedback.
- Enter a message with details.
- (Optional) Disable Root may contact me about this issue if you don't want us to follow up. This option is enabled by default.
- Tap Continue.

Tips for reporting issues
When reporting an issue, it's helpful to include:
- What you were trying to do
- What went wrong (include screenshots if possible)
- Any steps to reproduce the issue
Your app version and device information are automatically included when you submit through the app.
Tips for suggestions
When submitting a suggestion, consider including:
- What you'd like to see added or improved
- Why it would be helpful for you or your community
- Any context or examples of how you'd use it
