Recover your username

If you've forgotten your Root username, you can recover it from the sign in screen.

Desktop

1. On the sign in screen, select Forgot your username or password?
2. Select Recover username.
3. Enter the email address linked to your Root account.
4. Select Send.

Mobile

1. On the sign in screen, tap Forgot your username or password?
2. Tap Recover username.
3. Enter the email address linked to your Root account.
4. Tap Send.

Security verification

A Security Verification pop up window may appear when you request a username recovery. This verification usually completes silently in the background. If interactive verification is needed, complete the on-screen challenge to continue. To close the pop up window, select Cancel on desktop or tap the X on mobile.

We'll email your username if there's an account associated with that address.
