Recover your username

If you've forgotten your Root username, you can recover it from the sign-in screen.

Desktop

1. On the sign-in screen, select Forgot your username or password?
2. Select Recover username.
3. Enter the email address linked to your Root account.
4. Select Send.

Mobile

1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your username or password?
2. Tap Recover username.
3. Enter the email address linked to your Root account.
4. Tap Send.

Security verification

A Security Verification overlay may appear when you request a username recovery. This verification usually completes silently in the background. If interactive verification is needed, complete the on-screen challenge to continue. You can select Cancel to dismiss the overlay.

We'll email your username if there's an account associated with that address.
