Control audio and video

Manage your microphone and camera during voice and video calls.

Mute and unmute your microphone​

  1. Select the Mute icon (microphone) to turn your microphone on or off.
  2. A slash through the icon indicates you're muted.

Turn your camera on or off​

  1. Select the Turn on camera icon (video camera) to turn video on or off.
  2. The camera icon will have a solid blue fill color when the camera is on.

Deafen (disable incoming Root audio)​

When deafened, you can't hear anyone, it's like turning off your speakers for incoming Root audio.

Your microphone is not muted; others can still hear you.

  1. Select the Deafen icon (headphones).
  2. Select again to undeafen.
