What is Sticker Wall?

Sticker Wall is a community app where members create custom stickers using a built-in drawing editor and place them on a shared canvas. The wall updates in real time so everyone can see new stickers as they appear. Members react to and comment on placed stickers, turning the wall into a collaborative, visual space for the community.

How it works

Sticker Wall has two main areas: the editor, where you design stickers, and the wall, where placed stickers live. You create a sticker in the editor using shapes, text, freehand drawing, and colors, then drag it onto the wall to place it. Once placed, a sticker becomes permanent and other members can view, react to, and comment on it.

Stickers

A sticker is a custom drawing you create in the editor. Each sticker has a name and a canvas where you combine shapes, text, and freehand paths. You can create as many sticker designs as you like in the editor.

Once you place a sticker on the wall, the design is locked. If you edit a sticker that has already been placed, the app creates a new copy so the original placement stays unchanged.

The wall

The wall is a large shared canvas that displays all placed stickers. You can pan and zoom to explore the wall. Stickers appear at the position where they were dropped and are visible to all community members in real time.

Placement frequency

Community leaders configure how often members can place stickers. The available frequencies are:

Frequency	Description
Unlimited	Place as many stickers as you like. This is the default.
Once per day	One placement per day.
Once per week	One placement per week.
Once per month	One placement per month.
One time only	One placement ever.

Sticker admins are not subject to placement frequency limits.

Reactions and comments

Every placed sticker has a detail view where members can react and comment. Select a sticker on the wall to open it.

Reactions let you respond with one of five emoji: Like, Love, Fire, Insightful, or Interested. Select a reaction to toggle it on or off.

Comments let you discuss a sticker. You can reply to top-level comments, but replies cannot be nested further. Comment authors can edit or delete their own comments.

Roles and permissions

Sticker Wall uses two permission groups configured by community leaders:

Role	Description
Sticker Admins	Users and roles who can delete any sticker from the wall and delete any comment. Also includes Creator permissions.
Sticker Creators	Users and roles who can create stickers in the editor, place them on the wall, react, and comment.

Members who are not in either group can view the wall and placed stickers but cannot create, place, react, or comment.

What admins can do

• Delete any placed sticker from the wall
• Delete any comment
• Create stickers, place them, react, and comment
• Bypass placement frequency limits

What creators can do

• Create and edit sticker designs in the editor
• Place stickers on the wall (subject to placement frequency)
• React to placed stickers
• Comment on placed stickers
• Edit and delete their own comments

What other members can do

• View the wall and browse placed stickers
• Open sticker details and read comments

Create a sticker

Creators and admins design stickers in the built-in editor.

1. Open the sticker editor.
2. Enter a Name for your sticker.
3. Use the toolbar to add elements to the canvas:
   • Shapes: Square, circle, diamond, star, heart, triangle, hexagon, and more.
   • Text: Add text with customizable font, size, and style (bold, italic, underline).
   • Freehand drawing: Draw paths with adjustable color and width.
4. Style your elements using the side toolbar:
   • Set fill color and border color.
   • Adjust border width and corner radius.
   • Use arrange tools to reorder layers (bring to front, send to back).
   • Group or ungroup elements.
   • Flip elements horizontally or vertically.
5. Select Done when finished.

Use Undo and Redo to step through changes, or Clear canvas to start over.

Place a sticker

Creators and admins place stickers by dragging them from the editor onto the wall.

1. Open the sticker editor and select a sticker.
2. Drag the sticker from the thumbnail list onto the wall.
3. Position the sticker where you want it and release to confirm.

The sticker appears on the wall in real time for all members. Placement may be limited by the community's placement frequency setting.

React to a sticker

Creators and admins can react to any placed sticker.

1. Select a sticker on the wall to open its detail view.
2. Select a reaction emoji: Like, Love, Fire, Insightful, or Interested.

Select the same reaction again to remove it.

Comment on a sticker

Creators and admins can comment on any placed sticker.

1. Select a sticker on the wall to open its detail view.
2. Type your message in the comment field and select Send.

To reply to a comment, select Reply on the comment you want to respond to. To edit a comment, select Edit. To delete a comment, select Delete.

Delete a sticker from the wall

Admins can remove any placed sticker from the wall.

1. Select the sticker on the wall to open its detail view.
2. Select the delete icon (trash can).
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a placed sticker removes it from the wall along with all its reactions and comments. This action cannot be undone.
