Rate and review apps

Give an app a star rating and share what you think of it.

Any app your community has installed can be rated. A rating is one to five stars, and you can add an optional written review alongside it. An app's average rating appears on its page in the Root App Store, so people can see how it's rated before they install it.

You get one review per app, and you can update it whenever you like.

Rate and review an app

Desktop

1. Right-click the app's channel in the sidebar.
2. Select Leave a review.
3. Select a star rating from one to five.
4. Optionally, add a written review in the Your review box (up to 1,000 characters).
5. Select Submit review.

Mobile

1. Press and hold the app's channel in the channel list.
2. Tap Leave a review.
3. Tap a star rating from one to five.
4. Optionally, add a written review in the Your review box (up to 1,000 characters).
5. Tap Submit review.

Root confirms with Review submitted.

Update your review

You can change your rating or written review at any time. Open the review the same way you left it and the form shows your current rating and text, ready to edit. Make your changes, then select Update review.

Once you submit a review there's no way to remove it, but you can keep updating it.
