Add and remove friends

Build your friends list to easily find people and see when they're online.

Send a friend request

Desktop

1. Select the Friends icon (person silhouette) in the user tray (top-right of the window).
2. Select the Add friend icon (person with plus).
3. Enter the person's username (or part of it) into the search box.
4. Locate the person in the results.
5. Select Request.

Mobile

1. Tap on the member's avatar in either the community member list or a text channel.
2. Tap Add friend.

Accept or decline a friend request

Desktop

1. Select the Notifications icon (bell) in the user tray (top-right of the window).
2. Filter by Friend requests to see incoming requests.
3. Select Accept or Decline on each request.

Mobile

1. Tap Notifications in the bottom navigation.
2. Optionally, tap the Friend request filter at the top of the screen.
3. Locate the friend request notification.
4. Tap Accept or Decline.

Remove a friend

Desktop

1. Select the Friends icon (person silhouette) in the user tray (top-right of the window).
2. Right-click the friend you want to remove.
3. Select Remove friend.
4. Confirm by selecting Remove.

Mobile

1. Tap Friends in the bottom navigation.
2. Tap the friend's name.
3. Tap Remove friend.
4. Confirm by tapping Remove.
